The video above shows my first attempt at making a short animation film with lego

Synopsis: Today i made my first short animation movie with some lego. Being able to get the feel of how to go about doing short animation films using pictures was good as it prepared me for my animation project that i will do in a few weeks time. In todays lesson I worked in a pair with one of my class mates, we both took turns taking pictures and moving the lego characters, however we individually edited our final piece. Doing this piece of work showed me that doing this type of animation is very hard and is no where near as easy as it looks.

The video above was taken from my partners phone it shows how and where we got our white background from, it also shows what we had to do with our camera and tripod in order to get our animation as clean and as smooth as possible.

As I mentioned first my main aim is to create my very own animation film about anything of my choice hence the reason i am doing all this work preparation leading up to it, as a result of this my teacher showed me a few different short animation films including the one above which is McDonalds latest advert.

This stop motion animation is created purely on imagination, this short film does not contain any dialogue between the two characters seen above, instead it only consists of background music and a narrator who is telling the story and in addition the video follows it.
