Evaluation

My audio play came out just the way I had imagined it to. I am very please with all the foley that i used in it as i think that it made my play seem very real and casual. I also think that because I created and my own foley I became less dependant on the internet so I didn't have the worries of the internet not working or not being able to find a sound that I want. Not having these worries made me feel that i was able to complete my work in a professional way.

The quality of sound was very clear which enabled the listeners to hear exactly what was happening (which was very important), for example the movement of fingers, hearing this would be very important as it shows that someone is nervous. being able to hear all the sounds are important for listeners because they cannot see the person talking so they cannot see facial expressions and so fourth. all their judgement has to be based solely upon what they can hear

The way Mel's character sounded gave off the impression that she had deep repressed feelings about her previous lover, both good and bad, nevertheless she was a nice honest young lady. I was very happy with the impression Mel gave off and the way she sounded as this is exactly how I imagined her to be.

The councillor sounded very professional and stern and nice all at the same time, she didn't really give off any particular impression she was just plain and straight to the point, which again is exactly how I wanted her to be portrayed.

The only thing that i wasnt very happy with was that my script was not read word for word and some of it was improvised as the person who was originally meant to be Mel was changed at the last minuete so Mel (Chea from my class) only had a few moments to read the whole script and memorise it.
